At the sale
Storm Shield is presented in the F&I office with your other protection products. The customer enrolls. Your store keeps the margin.
Storm Shield is a dealer-branded hail protection plan designed to be sold with every new car, in the F&I office, the way your store already sells dent-and-ding and tire-and-wheel. Your store earns on the sale. Your customer gets a safe place to go when hail hits. And every enrolled car is set up to come back to you.
Storm Shield is a line on the protection package your F&I office already sells. The store keeps the margin on every plan, the day the car sells.
When hail hits, they have a plan: a free inspection at your store, a claim filed for them, deductible assistance and a rental subject to plan terms, and certified paintless dent repair.
Every enrolled customer has a reason to return to your drive for the repair, the parts, the service, and the next purchase. Not to a tent.
Dealers already sell dent-and-ding plans in the F&I office, and the average store books roughly $2,500 in F&I gross per vehicle (Haig, 2025). Storm Shield slots into that menu as a hail-specific plan, with take-up your F&I team controls.
The difference is what happens after the sale. A normal protection plan pays once, at delivery. Storm Shield pays at delivery, and then again when hail hits: the enrolled customer comes back to your store, the repair runs through the Dealership Hail Program, and your store keeps its share of the settled repair too.
In Texas, hail is not a question of if. It is when. Storm Shield turns that into a scheduled appointment at your drive instead of a race against the tents.

Enrolled customers hear from your store first after the storm, with a link to book a free inspection at your drive.
Our claims team files the claim. The plan provides deductible assistance and a rental, subject to plan terms. Master-certified technicians repair the car at your store.
The repair runs through the program, so your store keeps its written share of the settled repair, plus parts, rental, and detail. And a customer who trusts you more than before.
Storm Shield is in design with our partner stores. It is not yet offered to customers. Plan structure, pricing, and terms are not final. They are finalized with counsel before it goes on any F&I menu, and they are set store by store in your agreement alongside the Dealership Hail Program. Ask about it in your walkthrough.
No. The customer keeps their own comprehensive coverage, which pays for the repair. Storm Shield is being designed as a dealer-branded benefit plan that sits on top of it: deductible assistance and a rental, subject to plan terms, and one obvious place to take the car: your store. The legal structure and the administrator behind the plan are finalized with counsel before it goes on a menu, and we walk your F&I director through both.
A message from your store after the storm. A free inspection at your store. A claim filed for them by our claims team. Deductible assistance on qualifying repairs and a rental during the repair, subject to plan terms. And certified paintless dent repair with a lifetime paintless dent repair warranty, per program terms.
Yes. Storm Shield is the front door. The program is the repair, the claims team, and the customer care behind it. Together they cover the customer from the day they buy the car through every storm they own it.
The store keeps the margin on every plan sold, set in your agreement, plus its share of every settled repair when an enrolled car comes back. We put both in writing before launch and do not publish per-plan numbers on this site.
How is the deductible benefit different from a "waived deductible"? A waiver means a shop pads the insurer's bill to cover the customer's share, which is insurance fraud. A plan benefit is money the customer already paid for, paid out under the plan's terms. The insurer's bill is never touched.
Ask about Storm Shield in your walkthrough. We will show you the plan, the customer experience, and the economics for your store.
